3800 V6 Engine
- LeSabre's tried and proven 3800 Series II V6 engine offers 205 horsepower, giving you ample
power to merge onto freeways, climb steep grades and pass slow-moving vehicles.
Two-Sided Galvanized Steel Body Panels
To create weather-resistant, long-lasting good looks, galvanized steel, with a zinc coating and
protective anticorrosion dips, is used extensively in LeSabre's body panels.
Rigid Body Structure
- The feeling of solidity and stability in the 2001 LeSabre is due in great part to a rigid body
structure offering 62 percent higher torsional stiffness than the previous generation.
Stainless Steel Exhaust System
- LeSabre's stainless steel exhaust system is designed to reduce corrosion caused by road salt,
chemical reactions and other factors you'll encounter on the road.
Long-Life Components
LeSabre's quality engine components mean you can expect to drive up to 100,000 miles before your
first scheduled tune up.*
